Spatium was born from a simple observation: parking operations generate a wealth of data — but operators rarely have the tools to make sense of it. We set out to change that.
A problem we lived firsthand
Spatium was founded within Groupe Vectanor — a Canadian company with over 20 years of experience designing and operating smart city and parking infrastructure. Working alongside operators every day, we saw the same pain point repeat itself: millions of transactions flowing through systems that couldn't talk to each other, with revenue leaking silently at every gap.
In 2021, we started building Spatium as an internal tool to help Groupe Vectanor's own clients make sense of their data. The results were immediate — and the platform quickly grew into a standalone product.
Today, Spatium is deployed across private parking operators, shopping centres, and municipal networks in Canada and Europe.
